Mira Tus Manos is the DJ project of Cristian Estrella, the Argentine musician and producer based in Europe since 2015. The core of his sets, which he has performed in Slovakia, France, Argentina, Hungary, and the Czech Republic, revolves around Latin American and Slovak folklore, interacting with beats ranging from downtempo to techno, including cumbia and experimental rhythms.
Looking at one’s hands is, at the same time, a practice used in “lucid dreaming” (a technique to become aware within dreams). The writer Carlos Castaneda describes that this way, it is possible to stabilize the dream experience and explore other planes of reality.
La Jolla, California, United States – Cristian Darío Estrella, of Present E-Records, has won a prestigious Award of Recognition from The IndieFEST Film Awards. Samples from 22 albums by 20 Slovak performers or with Slovak repertoire, which will be judged by an expert panel in the World Music genre category as part of the Radio_Head Awards for 2025. From these excellent recordings, five finalists and one “Radio_Head” award winner will emerge.
